Overview

AmboCarta lets your visitors can take part in your readings by offering them a seat at your live virtual card table. There thy can shuffle, cut and draw cards, and see them live while you read them. In this document, you'll learn how easy it is to invite a visitor to your virtual card table.

Personal use of the virtual card table and offering sessions for free

You're using AmboCarta only for personal use and don't want to make money reading the cards to others? Then you also won't have filled in your "About myself" page. This in turns means that you're not visible in the catalog.

But how will you be able to have a visitor sitting at your virtual card table? The answer is: By a table number. It's a number which is different for each new card reading session, because you generate it at the beginning of each session to make sure each visitor gets a private session which is invisible to others.

You generate a table number by selecting Live–New table number from the menu.

New table key

You'll find the new table number in the top right corner of your card table. Tell this number to your visitor, for example by phone, texting, skype, etc.

A table key

All your visitor has to do is to enter that table number at http://www.AmboCarta.com in her browser and to click Start. You'll be immediately connected and be able to start the card reading session together.

Enter a table number

At the end of the session, just disconnect by selecting Live–Disconnect from the menu. Doing so invalidates your table number, and the visitor will be disconnected from your table. There will be a new table number for your next visitor.

Tip: A table number is an easy way to learn what your visitors will see when they're in a card reading session with you. To see yourself, just open a second browser and enter your own table number at http://www.AmboCarta.com. Now you see the virtual card tables from your and your visitor's perspective.
